VORARBEITER overview

VORARBEITER is a native macOS application for recurring file and media work. Add a file, folder, or web source, choose a tool, and define the output without switching between separate applications for every step.

The Safari extension detects images, animated GIFs, and videos on the current webpage. Individual media can be selected and downloaded directly, while complete websites, profiles, boards, blogs, or selected sections can be analyzed and reviewed in VORARBEITER before downloading. A crawl archive keeps previous analyses and helps identify new or missing media.

VORARBEITER also includes tools and dedicated workspaces for:

Batch file renaming and organization.
Creating and extracting ZIP archives.
Image conversion, compression, and retouching.
PDF editing, organization, optimization, and export.
Text cleanup, extraction, conversion, and encoding.
Audio processing with locally installed VST3 effects.
Property List editing, validation, comparison, and conversion.
3D model inspection, repair, optimization, and conversion.
Creating local depth maps and spatial image scenes.

File processing is performed locally on the Mac. Original files are not replaced unless the user explicitly selects that option. The application is available in English and German.
